Have I said
before that I'm always learning about the paranormal world? Yes, I believe I
have. On July 5, 2013, I had another astounding experience, and I can't begin
to tell you how it thrilled me, how it firmed my belief that there is always someone with me. That someone is always listening to me.
It's a tiny
incident, perhaps not big enough for all the hoopla I'm preparing you with. But
there is no doubt at all in my mind that it was something supernatural.
Have you ever
shopped at Aldi's? Aunt Belle and her daughter, Sammi, introduced Sis and me to
Aldi's. Their prices are even lower than Wal-Mart's grocery-wise. There's not a
huge selection, but what they have is on par taste-wise with name brands. You
bring your own bags (I use reusable cloth bags and an insulated bag for the
meat) or you can buy paper sacks for $.05 each. You pack your own groceries,
which saves them on employee wages.
A new Aldi's
opened within fifteen miles of me, and that's not far in Texas distance. I go
there at least once a month. You'd think that after so many trips to this
market, or the other one a little further away, I'd remember how things work.
One way they assure themselves that their grocery carts aren't scattered all
over the lot is by making you pay $.25 for one. This is also another
cost-saver, since they don't have to have an employee gather the carts up. You
push your quarter in a little slot and it releases the cart. After you load
your groceries in the car, you return the cart, stick the little thingy in and
get your quarter back.
I save change,
then cash it in when I get to go to the casino. However, it weighs down my
purse and a heavy purse makes my shoulder ache. So before I left for grocery
shopping, I cleaned the change out my purse. It wasn't until I was half-way to
Aldi's that I remembered I needed that quarter to get a basket. In the new car,
there isn't a convenient spot to drop extra change, so that wasn't an option.
In the parking
lot, I dug through my purse on the off chance I'd missed a quarter. Nope. So I took
out a dollar, grabbed my reusable bags, and headed in to the cashier. But on
the walk towards the door, I stuck my hand in the front pocket of my shorts.
I felt it but
really couldn't believe it until I pulled out the shiny new quarter! I know for
a fact there was not a quarter in
that pocket earlier. When I put those shorts on this morning, I did find a
chewed up plastic straw in that pocket (I chew straws to this day when I get
that darned cigarette urge). I threw the straw away and actually turned both
front pockets out to make sure they were empty.
Someone heard me thinking about needing that
quarter. It was bright and shiny, as though it had came straight into my pocket
immediately after it was minted. However, it was actually a New Hampshire state
quarter, dated 2000. I'm not sure if it was one of my angels or spirit guides.
I rather lean toward angel, but there is the phenomena of apports, which
materialize out of thin air. It has happened here in my house a few times.
Which do you
think: angel or spirit guide?
